Women of Faith Bible Study: Quieting a Noisy Soul

April 25, 2017
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Are you ever discontent with your circumstances?

Are you ever fearful about the future?

Do you ever get angry about things that don’t seem fair?

Do you ever despair that your situation will never change?

Join with us each Tuesday night in the

church atrium to experience God’s deliverance from these struggles.

Quieting a Noisy Soul is a 24-week interactive study that will change your life. You will learn to replace disturbing thoughts with confidence in God as you develop your relationship with Him.

Our study of these truths will continue from September through May with a several-week break for Christmas.

The fall study will begin January 17 and continue through April 25.

(We will not meet Tuesday, January 31 because of our Faith Refresh Conference that week. Also we will not meet on February 14 for Valentines Day.)

Pat Berg will teach a lesson each week. Then participants will review and apply the material to their personal lives throughout the week by means of listening to recordings of the lessons and answering questions in the worktext. At the first session on September 6, we will tell you how you can choose the small group that you would like to be a part of. Much of the learning will take place during the week, and we will share what we have learned each Tuesday. And if you must miss a week, you can listen to the lesson on the CD and stay up to date.

Each participant should purchase a Quieting a Noisy Soul audio kit, which includes a CD of the recorded lessons and the worktext, Taking Time to Quiet Your Soul.

The price of this audio kit of CD and worktext is

$20 for church members

$35 for non-church members

(The retail price of the kit is $55, so both of these prices reflect a substantial discount.)

You will order these materials online when you register for the study.

Going through this study with us will represent a sacrifice of your time, but God will richly bless you as you meditate on His Word. He promises this in Psalm 1:2-3 as He speaks of the person who takes the time to meditate in His Word: “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leave also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide child care for this evening study.

We will help to arrange rides for those who prefer not to drive at night or need rides for other reasons
