Ambassadors' Ministry

For many years, Faith Baptist Church has sponsored numerous trips to various fields, both at home and abroad, where our missionaries are serving in order to be a blessing to the missionary. These trips have provided the opportunity for members in our church to experience the mission field first hand by going and helping in a short term project.

We take our name from II Corinthians 5:20 where the Apostle Paul said, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” As believers, we are all to be involved in sharing the gospel with the lost, but it is our desire as a church to be ambassadors to our missionaries by coming alongside them to help in their ministries of proclaiming the gospel as ambassadors for Christ.

The goal of The Ambassadors is not only to help our missionaries by sending construction teams, but to minister as well through educational, medical, and evangelistic teams. Our church possesses many gifted individuals who can help with all these needs. These teams can be greatly used of God to extend the ministry of our missionaries. It is a sacrifice of time and money by our members, but also an eternal investment. Pastor Monroe’s burden and goal is that every member of Faith Baptist Church pray about going on one of these Ambassadors’ trips. Those who have gone come back with a renewed passion for missions and a greater appreciation of what the Lord is doing through our missionaries on the field.
