Rosemary Craven was reared in Greenville, South Carolina. At the age of five, Rosemary accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior during a home Bible study with her mother. From a young age, she had a burden for missions and especially for Africa. In 2000, one year after completing a bachelor's degree in humanities from Bob Jones University, Rosemary went to Cameroon for a two-year, short-term assignment home schooling missionary children and assisting in various other ministries.
During her two-year stay , the Lord directed Rosemary to return full-time to the Northwest Province and join the Tom Needham family in the work there. Since 2005 she has been living among the Muslim Fulani people and reaching out to surrounding villages, whether by foot, horse, motorcycle, or car.
Her main ministry is teaching ladies' classes at a Bible institute. Her other ministries include evangelization and discipleship of women and children through Bible studies, children's Bible clubs, teaching English and reading, and youth rallies. She also assists at a Christian camp and encourages the local churches by door-to-door witnessing, Christian film showing, provision of Sunday school materials, and more.
