Dr. John C. Vaughn is the President
of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International and Pastor Emeritus of Faith Baptist
Church in Taylors, SC,
where he served as Senior Pastor for 30 years. Dr. Vaughn and his wife Brenda
are co-authors of More Precious Than Gold: The Fiery Trial of a Family’s
Faith, which tells the
story of a fire in the Vaughn home in 1978, in which Brenda and daughter Becky
were severely burned, and the resulting ministries, including Hidden Treasure
Christian School, founded in 1981. From humble beginnings with 45 members in a
small metal building, the 1200 member Faith
Baptist Church
and Hidden Treasure Christian
School now share a beautiful
