Pastor David W. Stockard, Administrative Pastor

Pastor Stockard and his wife, Linda, began their ministry at Faith Baptist Church in June of 2009. Pastor Stockard grew up in Graham, Texas, where his father pastored Morningside Baptist Church for thirty-three years. After high school graduation, Pastor Stockard attended Baylor University for one year. He transferred to Bob Jones University in 1970 as a sophomore where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Bible and a master's degree in theology. He also earned a master's degree from Pensacola Christian College. He served for two years as a youth pastor in Dallas, TX, before returning to his hometown to serve alongside his father for seven years as his assistant.

In 1984, Pastor Stockard went to Providence Baptist Church in Riverview, FL (Tampa area) to serve as the Administrator of Providence Christian School. In 1999, he assumed the role of Administrative Pastor at Providence. He served at Providence for twenty-five years, thirteen of those alongside Pastor Monroe.

Linda grew up in Massachusetts and received a degree from a Bible College in Maine. She taught kindergarten at Pensacola Christian School for five years. She and Pastor Stockard were married in 1982 and have been serving together in ministry for the past twenty-seven years. For many of those years, Linda taught first and second grades in Christian schools in both Graham and Riverview.

They have been blessed with three children: Melissa, David and Angela. David and Melissa are graduates of Bob Jones University, and Angela is a current student.
